Nown ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile app focused on intentional presence and meaningful connection. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

• Connections you choose to make with other users

• Device identifiers and app usage data
• Push notification tokens
• Performance and crash data
• Purchase information, such as in-app purchase and subscription history, transaction identifiers, and product identifiers. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive or store your payment card details.

What we do not collect

• Your location
• Your contacts
• Data from third parties for advertising purposes

3. How we use your data

• To operate the app and provide its core features
• To send push notifications you have opted into
• To display relevant activity and stats within the app experience
• To process in-app purchases and provide access to any purchased features

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.

4. Sharing and visibility

Nown is designed to keep you in control of your privacy.

• Basic Profile Information: To facilitate a shared experience, basic profile elements—such as your chosen display name and selected profile avatar may be visible to other users in the app. We do not display private contact details, such as your email address, to other users.
• Activity & Connections: The extent of your activity, presence, or shared sessions visible to others depends on your in-app settings and the connections you choose to make.
• No Unintended Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or publicly expose your private account information.

5. Third-party services

We use third-party services to help operate the app, which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies. These may include services for authentication, data storage, push notifications, analytics, and in-app purchase management. We take reasonable steps to ensure these services handle your data appropriately.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your associated data from our systems within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics purposes.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Nown is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us at privacy@ownyour.now.

9. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data we collect and how it is used, request deletion of your personal data, and opt out of the sale of your personal data. We do not sell personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ownyour.now.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
